The school multilateral partnership project started on September 2006 having as a major objective the students’comprehension of the effort for the IT technology evolution through the study and classification of each generation computers. The project developed within three years and the project partners were Estonia, Finland, Romania and Hungary.

The end common product is ”ICT Museum”which contains three sections:

1. ”ICT Virtual Museum” (2006-2007) which contains information about the IT evolution(hardware, software,computers networks,companies)and information about computer history in each four partners countries.Owing to the study and classification of computers from each generation the students understood the fact that the evolution of computers is in a strong connection with the progress achieved by diverse technologies:electronic,magnetic,electro-mechanic and electrono-optical.
2. ”Let Understand Computer Past Through Present”(2007-2008)contains information regarding the systems reconditioned by each project team.The teams of project, students and teachers, took over IT systems and components ,which were out of use,from different firms and persons ,they tested them and based on the results they reconditioned and recycled them. The reconditioned parts were used for the extension of the operation period of the actual systems or even for the making of complete systems with weak performances.
3. ”Personalities from Science and Technique Field” (2008-2009) contains the biographies of great personalities in science and technique from each partner country,personalities who influenced IT history.

Objectives

1. the students’comprehension of the effort achieved for the information technology through the computers study and classification of each generation;
2. the cognition of the basic elements of calculus systems architecture and organization;
3. the study of present Web methodologies, standards and techniques;
4. the use of specialized applications for the making of graphic processing,of audio-video files processing;
5. the improvement of students and teachers professional and linguistic training;
6. the creation of new connections between the participant countries, the improvement of knowledge about the partner countries and their culture;
7. the acquisition of social and communication competences.
